This Disappears When Logged In

    Although its south and west of you, I find S. polymorpha inside the Kansas City Metro area. S. heros I have to go few counties south to find. I believe Kansas is the farthest North these species go.

    Now if you wanted to stay east, you could find S. viridis,

    and S. alternans
    in Alabama and Florida.

    Of course the real beauties are found in other countries.

    Haha, yeah, I've wanted an S. gigantea for a long time. But I fear my centipede catching prospects are slim. Travel's never been big on my itinerary.

    cool pedes. ANd as for the african giant millipedes....haha if i knew people kept them! $$$ :p
