Caught A Mediterranean Gecko In My House. What Is This In Its Belly?

In New Orleans, I think it's a common Mediterranean house gecko, right?

It's about 3 inches long tip to tip. Pregnant female? I don't think my cats injured it.

Seemed sluggish and easy to catch, but my house is 70 degrees.

I've since put some foliage in there so it can get off the glass. Picking up a proper habitat tomorrow.

    I'm thinking that's two eggs.
Provide it a rather deep container with some moist coconut fiber or a soil and sand mixture so it can lay them ASAP

Those are eggs and I would personally release the gecko so she can lay them in the wild.

I agree; it's always better to support the native wildlife. I would release her and buy a gargoyle gecko or something. Of course it's your call.

I ended up letting her go on Monday
