    It is no fun to wake up and loose a Beta! One of my most favorite fish!

    He was almost 6 or 7 so he had a good life he was a fan tail too. He's survived by our Dark Pink betta Zuko who thankfully seems to be okay with being the only fishy. When our first fishy passed we lost our second 2 week later he stopped eating after the first died. x_x;

    6-7 years is a long time for a fish isn't it! Sounds like he had a good long life. I hope that your other fish isn't too lonely.

    Not necessarily, Koi are the second longest living animal on record. Oldest one lived to 226 years of age I believe, only animal that beats Koi is a type of Mollusk.

    Either way 7 years is good for a BETA, and I feel so bad for Beta's, pet stores treat them horrible...little plastic cup until they die. So sad. :c

    Sorry for your loss.
