I got a adult breeding pair of blonde subocs for $160 today! The female is on the thin side cause she just a laid a clutch of eggs a couple months ago. I hope to breed them in the spring. I will post pics tomorrow!

    Here they are!

First 3 are of the female and the last 2 are the male.

    Great looking snakes! Congrats!

Was trying to figure out what they are exactly lol... I guess they're "trans pecos rat snakes"? Very interesting.

Yes they are blonde phase trans pecos rat snakes. The nickname suboc comes from the last part of their scientific name Bogertophis subocularis

Thanks! I normally wait a week before feeding, but she laid eggs a couple months ago for her previous owner and is thin, so I fed her. They were eating live mice and I already have the female switched to f/t rats.

That first one looks like popcorn! If you were looking for names, that would be what I'd go with. :)

Thanks! I'm thinking about naming them Ward and June, but I'm not sure yet.
