What if we made a separate sub-forum just for birthdays?
For it, minus the years if possible.
The gentleman from NC votes: Strongly opposed.
It's very impersonal and machine-like. Sometimes new scripts are not good things.
I would rather the individual posts for each person.
I don't care either way.
I'm with Dom. I work with computers all day and appreciate the personal touch
I am going to be temporarily disabling this feature. I have an idea that will allow us all to be happy. lol
I am going to customize this code at some point and make it so each of the staff members can enter their own default message. I am also going to make it so that each user gets their own post.
When the script randomly chooses which staff member will start the thread, it will grab their Happy Birthday message for the user and post it.
This seems like a feasible compromise as it allows each user their own post, the message will be specific to that staff member, and it will still be an automated process.
How's that sound?
March....2011 would be a good starting date.
Perfect!! There ya happy Dom ( Even though we know you and I would have had our own threads )
Why yes I am.
LOL I was briefly taken aback this morning when I saw that I had posted happy birthday to Mookins,...while I was asleep!
Da mn I'm good!
That's now disabled. lol That was the feature that randomly selected a staff member. lol
Not very eloquent though Merlin. You write much better when you are awake. LOL!

The Herp Center Bot wishes you a Happy birthday.*
