    I have a spare 48x24x24 inch enclosure.

I want something big and preferably very handleable...

I was thinking a big male deep red leatherback bearded dragon
But I already have 2 beardies so I am thinking maybe a different species.

Would a timor moniter be good?

If not the timor, what other big interactive lizards would be good in this enclosure? Obviously, It is a decent sized enclosure and could house some of the bigger species.

Also, i already have a blue tongue skink so that is off the list...

    Thanks guys!

Hmm are you definitely thinking lizard? Because there's a ton of snake options for that size enclosure too.

Not sure how interactive/hands-on Timors are, I'd never heard that before. Maybe an ackie? I haven't personally kept them so not 100% sure how they'd work in a 4x2x2, I've heard they like to live in pairs, trios, or groups.

No snakes. My mom says no cause she thinks that every snake escapes.

When I lived at home I lived with the "no snakes" rule too...

Unless you can get a decent amount of substrate in there, then any monitors will be a no go. Even ackies need at least 12". Now if you could add 12" to the bottom, you'd be ok. I've actually done that with a couple cages, and it works well.
