    Maybe a skink, monitor, or some iguana? I guess a monitor or tegu of some type.

    It isn't a monitor or Tegu. For starters, I would know. And they can't lose their tails. And their are only two kinds of tegus. I know them both and own one. Rules out iguana too.

    It's a skink of some sort.

    its a Bahama curly tail lizard, invasive species i Florida
    and actually tegus can loose their tail and regenerate them
