My husband is working on his fear of snakes. He's good with the larger ones, its the little ones he doesn't like. On a side note, he got his mom good. He had her going that we were adopting the snake and she was threatening to never come visit again.

Aren't you afraid the snake will eat your child?! :p

It is a great shot though - it needs to be framed and hung on the wall.

Awesome family picture! And a good looking burm!
I am glad to see the handler is on the spot with the head controlled!
Maybe its the fast moving wiggliness that he doesn't like.

Great family picture! That snake is just gorgeous! As for your husband, sometimes its the smaller things that can be intimidating and unpredictable and very fast, I'm that way with spiders but yet not with our tarantula. Thanks for sharing the picture.

I know I was being sarcastic but am afraid to ask if your mother in law was serious... ?

Of course my mother in law was serious. She's not such a big fan of reptiles. However I knew YOU were joking!

Awww, I love family pics! Kudos to your husband for not making an ickky face while posing there. I, like Merlin, like the fact the handler is close by and controlling the head.

Sounds like my grandmother when I was growing up. I was always at my aunt's playing with her four rottweilers and Gram was always convinced they would turn on us
