    Hey everyone

I just got back into the reptile game and figured I'd hop on the forums again and get involved. Just wanted to show off my new lil guy (or gal) - Balu! (pronounced Bah-Loo).

Here's a few pictures of the setup as of now

    Here's a crappy panoramic

Bottom layer of substrate is river pebble, followed by organic potting soil pressed firm, followed by another layer of looser organic potting soil. All the plants are alive. I do have questions regarding the possibility of putting worms into the substrate for nutritional value and waste management (so to speak). Please check that thread out and respond if you have input.

Hi, is the top mainly screen, and if yes, how are you stabilising the temps and humidity and do you have plans to upgrade to a larger enclosure which will enable you to better create supportive conditions quite soon?
Fishtanks are really not suitable other than temporarily.
I`d also like to ask what type of basking (heat) bulb you`re using plus the type of UVB bulb (I get the impression the latter may be a compact or possibly a MVB)?

It's a screen top half is covered with plastic, 100watt day time heat bulb, ceramic heat bulb for night time, and yes it's a compact UVB bulb until I can figure out arrangement for the tube style bulb. The humidity stays relatively high all day due to the soil and rock bottom containing a lot of water. I do mist it a few times a day when I am not working. This enclosure is temporary. He will be transferred to a home made set up that will hold him until I purchase a home. At that point he will have his own entire room to roam.
