Emo has just shed his skin and is putting on quite a bit of weight. He's eating well too.
Awesome job creating a temperature gradient!!! I am in the midst of finishing a custom enclosure for an iguana; I truly hope to do as good of a job as you have getting everything dialed in.
Thanks, Jonathan. I'm also happy with how everything turned out. Will need to do everything all over again once he out grows this vivarium, which will be fun.
It would be nice to see your vivarium once it's in the final stages.
He seems to prefer 36 degrees Celsius for basking.
However I would suggest using larger diameter branches. You want them about as big around or larger than the ig's body
Thanks for your comment, Merlin. If it will make Emo feel more relaxed whilst basking then I'll source some thicker branches. At the moment the branches are indeed a little narrower that his body.

I just bought a 100W ZooMed basking bulb. It has a reflector built inside and the heat and light from it exceeded my expectations.
