I had a male green anole for 6 months and just got another green anole today. They both displayed the pink dewlap, but now it looks like they're mating. Is it possible that my new green anole is female? Thanks so much!

Definitely looks like mating. Get your nesting area ready!

Female anoles have dewlaps as well although they are usually much smaller.
How are you keeping them? If the anoles don't have access to good UVB lighting and calcium supplementation the female will quickly become calcium deficient laying eggs.

Thanks so much for your input. I have a heating pad under the tank as well as a UVB lamp. I have been dusting the crickets with calcium.

Thanks so much for your response. Do you have any suggestions for nesting areas?
