Will do! I've decided to name it Thorn for now, as I have no clue whether it's a boy or a girl yet. xD I'll put up pics soon, I promise!

Also, he's shedding (again, just going with the he gender as a neutral) and I've never given a beardie a bath before... Just fill the sink with a little bit of warm water and let them splash around?

No. If you just barely got him you need to set him in his tank and not handle him, touch him, or go near his cage other than to change his water and place the food in. He needs time to settle in and get used to you before you handle him. He is going through alot of stress right now so its best to leave him alone for atleast a week.

Here's the two pics that turned out well! S/he's got one normal parent and one red parent, I believe. A little bit of the red tint, but nothing dramatic.

Ach! Accidentally got calcium powder all over the tank when I was feeding! Still haven't figured out how to avoid that... >.<

It was an accident. I dusted the crickets with his calcium stuff, and then it all poured out when I was trying to get the crickets into the tank. Oops.

We're out of veggies from the garden, i.e. no more collards, kale, turnip greens, mustard greens, ect. >.< Any recommendations on what I should feed Thorn instead?

    S/he makes me laugh.
Thorn yesterday: I'm going to run around all day and never slow down and act like a nutcase!
Thorn today: Nope. Not getting off my rock.

Then something weird is happening. I was keeping my crickets in a tank, simply for ease of access, and one morning I got up and poof! There were this things that looked like mealworms in with them... I have no clue...

were they black and fuzzy? Where do you get your crickets?

No, they're just normal crickets. We get them from a local pet shop.
My lizard is sitting there with his tongue hanging out and mouth open, but looks fine otherwise. My mom wants to know what he's doing... What IS he doing?

no were the worms black and fuzzy?

thats how they cool down-like panting in dogs. Its normal and you will see it often when they are basking.
