I am almost done with my future cwd enclosure, it is 155cm long, 125cm tall (area for the lizard, it is actually 2m tall), and 70cm deep. It has a waterfall feature and will have a "pond" 60cm x 90cm x 25cm tall and a 55cm x 60cm land area.

It also has a basking spot 50cm above what will be the ground 20190415_193147.jpg

Also, the rocks at the bottom are not the final substrate, i plan to go bio active and the small rocks are for the drainage layer, the bigger rocks are for holding the logs in place.
Also, is a mix of peatmoss, dirt and a little bit of sand (50-60%dirt, 30-40% peatmoss, 10% sand) ok for water dragons?

So nice to hear, habitat done AND THEN get the reptile.
A lot of work went into that looks great and I bet it was fun.
Are you getting good basking temp readings where you want?

Substrate sounds good. Peat and topsoil tend to dry out quickly and get dusty from lamps. But with your moderate humidity it might not be too bad.
Not sure if CWD like to dig. You might want to put those plants into pots.

Forgot to mention that i havent measured the temps yet, going to put 3-4 thermometers (one water, one on the dirt, one on basking spot and one backup), also going to buy a temp gun and a digital hygrometer.
Also, going to mist daily and give 1-2 months for the plants to frow roots before adding the cwd. I also need to plant the water area since i have a couple of fish in it and a group of cherry shrimp (trying to make it look like an asian river).

I am planning on building an outside enclosure in case i decide to get more dragons but for now i think this one should be good for a couple of years
