    Only a few small ones on each side... It's almost like the heat isn't getting through the plastic.

    Have you tried mounting the heating on the inside of the enclosure? This would be the most efficient way.

    I talked to someone who has done this type of cage build and I'm fairly certain I can make it work.

    Sorry I've been absent. You need a heat source on the bottom for easy humidity rise. Using cypress mulch and a uth has worked great for me. I keep it wet and lasts 2-3 days just fine. I have a 18w uth on top and has provided the proper temps being left on all the time. Just needs some time to get there and that's with the same tub you use. I only have one in use but its working
