    How long does it take for a lost tail to regenerate on a fat tail? I'm thinking about buying a female, but they want $50 for her, she's 3 years old and tail is growing back. I wanted to get one to breed, but if she's putting a lot of energy into tail growth, would it be healthy for her to breed now?

    If her tail is currently regenerating, you wouldn't want to breed her. Regeneration is a process and takes time. All of the nutrients that was being stored in the tail needs to be replenished.
