    Thanks Matt, they made for my morning reading. I have all way been amazed to watch our Tarantulas spin and wondered how they could totally enclose their cage with web in about a days time.

    Wow. It's definitely not easy to prove a new species. Probably a good thing.

    Pretty cool Matt! I was just reading about the turtle discovery in Reptiles Magazine. They mentioned that normally the turtle would have just ended up as someone's dinner. Luckily a villager who was conservation minded recognized it and bought it from the fisherman.

    No problem! I've actually spoken to the guy that took the tarantula photo for the Smithsonian magazine article. Here's his website: http://savagedigital.com/, he's got a lot of cool herp and invert photos.
    After looking for an online version of the article I came across the other two.
