L.E.A.R.N. is a Louisiana non-profit organization that freely provides rescue, special-needs sanctuary and rehabilitation services to exotic and indigenous animals, as well as conservation education to the public.

Our primary focus is on assisting reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates. We are headquartered in Elm Grove, Louisiana.

We take in injured or healthy:

    • Indigenous reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates
    • Exotic reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates
    • Exotic small mammals, birds and aquatic animals on a case-by-case basis, when capacity permits.
We have specimens of many of the species of indigenous reptiles and amphibians that live in NW Louisiana, plus some invertebrates, and bring them to educational events when feasible. Our president is a Louisiana Master Naturalist who is trained in teaching others about our unique ecosystem here in the Bayou State.

We do not sell or profit from animals in any way.
