That's good to hear! I need to take some pictures of the cage I built Ziggy. It's 4 1/2 foot wide by 4 foot long and 7 foot high, all the way up to the ceiling. Hes doing really good. Hes been in it for about 2 month are so. Take it easy. PEACE
they are really good! My grandpa just built a new top for their cage so I am really excited about that.
awww thanks so much! He had just had a bath and sat under his light for a while so he was like glowing! My other mali rush though got worms again so I am not having that much luck these days...
Sorry I hav'nt been on in a while. I'v been out of town. That's not too bad. It sounds pretty nice. My Brother-in-law owns a park called Gator Country. He envited me out one day and I did'nt want to leave. It's a rush!
Oh you should see them now! That was when they were pet store fresh (aka dehydrated, improperly fed, improper ligthing etc.) That was about 4 months ago and they are just finished up a shed now. You wouldn't pin them as the same lizard. THe male is incredibly bright now. I am going to post pics once all the old skin is off. But thanks:). I have read some posts of yours about the gators you take care of and I am fascinated. How did you come about that job?
Well Gauteng, the middle of SA is between 73 & 80F, but the early mornings are starting to be cold. Kruger Park however is still very hot between 86 & 95F. We actually have thread about the weather, here is the link: http://www.herpcenter.com/chit-chat/21516-what-your-weather-like-your-time-zone-27.html Hope to see you there. :-)
I'm afraid it's a bit more difficult than that! Go to Pet adoption: Want a dog or cat? Adopt a pet on Petfinder and punch in zipcode 21009. Better yet, punch in YOUR zipcode, and select "reptiles" from the pulldown menu. See what comes up. Give the rescue your information, or your friends information and go from there!
I am doing great :) how are you doing. I am hoping my python will pull threw this nightmare of a mouth rot hehe
