Hi! It's taken me a while to figure out how to place a message on this forum! Thank you for the hi, Rich. I could not figure out how to respond. Anyway, I have an African Fat-Tailed Gecko named Kitoto. Actually, he's my 12 year old sons. We purchased him from a local pet store (yes, I know....bad mistake...) in November last year, and he looked healthy, but he has not eaten at all. I am offering him gut-loaded crickets, mealworms and waxworms - he turns his nose up at all of them. I have spent a small fortune at my reptile vet and we have tested everything - Xrays, blood, poop, etc. and he has nothing wrong with him. I have had to hydrate him daily in a warm, wet washcloth and force-feed him crickets, which I hate because it causes him more stress and inflames his external mouth. This is so draining for me because I really think he's beautiful and I'd love to see him thrive. We have a juvenile leopard gecko who is wonderfully healthy. I believe I am doing everything right. I even tried the store to see if they could contact their supplier to see what he was fed as a baby, but they don't have access. Do you know of any other foods I could offer him? I am really needing some help!!!!
