I love my dragons for so many reasons, the way they look at me like 'bow down, human'.

Sometimes Pie runs on his back legs which is so amazing to watch, and the female (unnamed) just scuttles along the floor, whcih is also quite amusing.

The way they like to jump off my head or shoulder to the floor, then crash around a bit, but hop straight back up totally fine (still don't get how that works).

When they are sat on my head but keep having to climb up a bit, when they keep slipping down my hair (funny to watch in a mirror :P).

Watching them chase down crickets is hilarious! When they chew worms, but drop half of it, then look at me, as if saying 'well, pick it up for me then!'.

I haven't seen any reptiles as interesting as them, they are just great!

They are indeed very fun to watch and very amusing, they make great additions to your family as long as you have the time and money to care for them properly.

Certain parts do get to be a slight chore, cleaning their water once or twice a day, and making sure I spray their cage at least twice a day can be difficult. Especially when I'm sleepy and end up spilling most of the water on me

My guys's water bowl is in a very percarious position so I usually end up spilling a cup or two on their floor when I'm pulling it out. I always put it back before filling though. When I build thier new home around Sept. I will do what I've done with Ramses and make everything easy access.

Ive found that putting a filter in large water bowls/pools helps alot. I had a filter in a big kitty liter box lol...they r cheap and easy to clean. The only prob I had with it was I used small gravel for a substrate at first and found that Jack (male Chinese Water Dragon) enjoyed snacking on it so be sure to use BIG rocks as substrate

Oh gosh, I went off to my mom's for two days, and left my dragon in the care of my father. He said he nearly had a heart attack when he saw her flopped at the bottom of the cage! Personally I think they just sleep like that to be lazy bums Although...

Once I caught Heebee asleep in the most ridiculous position. It's hard to describe, but heregoes: I have a vine near her basking/night lamp which she can climb up to get as close as she wants (without burning herself, of course.) It's near the far left side of the tank. One night, I saw her asleep on her hind legs, her back paws gripping the vines, her front paws folded on her little chest, and her chin flat against the side of the tank, propping her up:P Looked like a real balancing act, I had to laugh quietly so that she didn't wake up and trip xD

She's fairly friendly, but often gets pretty scared. I try to pet her once a day, just so she gets used to me, and then I leave her alone or just watch her. Sometimes I think she doesn't recognize me in different outfits. But then again she might be a bit more skittish than usual because she's going through a shed.. (Looks gorgeous btw )
