I woke up this morning, went to switch Leezards lights and he is dead.
I have no idea what happened. He seemed fine the last couple of days. He wasn't eating on his own but he does that sometimes so I syringe fed him. Yesterday he seemed ok. Even now,dead, his colour is good. I don't get it. I just don't get it. I might call the vet and see if we can take his body in to find out what happened.
I just don't get it.

Since it was sudden and unexpected, and since you have been syringe feeding, its possible that he aspirated some of the food into his lungs. However that is just a wild guess.
Without a necropsy no one will ever know.
