My little Scarlett has been with me for about two months now. She's about 10 inches. For the most part she's been partial to crickets... wouldn't touch anything else...
But I reintroduced her to mealworms and WOAH... she's in LOVE. I think she likes that they live in a little dish and she can go over there and eat them whenever she likes.
However, I'm a little concerned now because she WON'T eat crickets unless she's starving.
Is it ok for her diet to consist of mainly mealworms? What are other things I can put in there for her to munch? Petstores aren't very helpful.. are there any reliable websites you guys use?

All of my water dragons were picky eaters when they were around 10 inches, as most of them are. At this age you can offer Crickets,mealworms,waxworms,butterworms,eartworms 1 gram pinks and fish.Only offer wax worms,butter worms,earthworms,pinks and fish once a week, and in quanities no bigger then 2 for the worms,1 for the whole prey as they are very high in fat and the WDs liver wont be able to process all of the fat properly. Also try offering different food items at different times of day Best of luck!

I don't have a water dragon but I don't think you can feed meallies as staple, too much fat content.
I have the same problem with my Bearded Dragon, if I let him, he will only eat candy (meallies and waxies). You have to be strong and don't give in.
