I brought Tarzan in for a recheck, and the prognosis is much better than expected! Instead of amputating at the break, Tarzan will only lose the last couple of inches of her tail. The break is healing well since the constricting bands on her tail are gone. The vet said to keep up with the baytril until it heals.
On another note, Tarzan stopped eating about a month ago, only accepting food every other day, and only taking enough to sustain her (usually 1 superworm). Since getting rid of the shed didn't bring the appetite back, now Tarzan is receiving Eukanuba max calorie canned cat/dog food. It's very liquidy, especially when mixed 50/50 with water. Force feeding her, hopefully to stimulate her appetite.

Did the vet prescribe the canned dog/cat food?

Dont use dog food, its not the best thing for them, My oldest female water dragon didnt eat for about 2 months,so Tarzan is going to be fine. You shoud start feeding tarzan baby food, its much healthier then the dog food. I used a mixture of turkey baby food(beech nut), clacium, crickets, sometimes mealworms, Kale and pedalite. I syringe fed it to her, and she would take it with no problem.

Yeah, this canned food is only available through vets... At least that is what the vet told me! It was cheap though (relative to vet prices), about two dollars.
Eukanuba Food
I'm also adding a calcium supplement to the mix.
I'll try your mix too, see how Tarzan likes it.
Why wasn't your WD eating? Just being stubborn like they are? How long did you have to force feed her before she started eating again? How much did you force feed her each day?

She was aneorexic, which her stubborness did indeed lead to. She went for about a month eating 1 cricket a day and I had to syringe feed her they slury for a little over a month. She finally started eating again when I introduced her to pinks, ever since then she hasnt been on any hunger strikes

Well, yesterday I was going to offer her the slurry. The day before, I syringe fed her 2cc's of the calorie food, and yesterday when I offered her crickets she took them eagerly! She had 7 or 8 of them, so we'll see if she maintains her appetite.
I had a dream that she was sitting on my shoulder, and then she bit my ear and started pointing at me, and then her mouth. After I didn't get it, she started yelling at my, "FEED ME! I'm hungry!"
Yeah, it's weird.
