That doesn't meant that it wasn't the result of water hitting the hot surface. The way bulbs work is the lack of oxygen inside the sealed bulb allows the filament to reach high temperatures amd glow without actually combusting. Once the glass is shattered the incoming oxygen allows combustion and burns the filaments.
