Only tail shed left... need help

hey my girl has just about finished her first shed with me and she's gotten everything but the bulk of her tail, the tail shed seems completely intact. I've been giving her regular baths and its been fun watching her run through her water bowl, to the top of the hides and back again working the skin off but it seems like she can't get her tail. Any ideas?

There's a product called Shed-ease that I used with one of my dragons that seemed to loosen the skin right up. Other than that I'd say just soak her as usual or more.

Try the shed ease and give her a little help, by help I mean rub the shed to loosen it a bit...you definatley dont want a retained shed on her tail..

I use the shed-ease for my 2 WD's. Rub the shed as already stated. Do it after Pez has soaked for a while. DO NOT pull and tear at the loose shed.
I'm sure you have the humidity level in her viv set at the right levels.
Good luck! :-)

Baby oil works wonders on stuck on tail/spine/toe shed, just rub it on, let it sit for a couple of minutes and gently try to rub it off, rinse and repeat as you see fit.

I put aloe vera gel (100% pure ) on stubborn sheds. Works like a charm. See my water dragon shedding page http://www.triciaswaterdragon.com/shedding.htm for more info on how you can help your dragon through a shed.

Aloe Vera? Great yet another good use for one of my Mom's annoying plants. She's why I refuse to get colds or sunburns and come over... out comes the herbal tea or the Aloe Vera... the vera wouldn't be so bad if I could get some college cutie to rub it on me... but then I'd have to pay her. Personal Zing ouch. I'll try the ease first if that doesn't work I'll move onto the Vera then baby oil, cause what does a grown man need baby oil for?
