wd eating problems

hay all I am haveing problems with my new water dragon jr. he will not eat any veggies all he will eat is crix and pinkys I have ofered him a variety of things like melon green beens col. greens etc... any ideas or suggestion?

I suggest trying squash, sweet potatoe..any orange flesh colored veggies really...try feeding veggies in the morning too

You can also use baby food and try to spoon feed him. That's how I get mine to eat baby food and they're still really young. Good luck.

I should have been more detaied in my response to you earlier..sorry I was in a bit of a rush..Usually when they are young its hard to get them to try new foods, you can try putting some meal worms in with the veggies to spark his interest a bit more, and if you use feeding tweezers you can put a piece of squash or whatever you are feeding in them and usually they will take it that way (trick them into thinking its there usual ) and if they wont eat veggies its really no biggie..there diest is supposed to be as follows: 40% insects 10%veggies and 50% whole prey, if they wont accept the veggies increase the %of insects
