This dragon always has his left eye closed when he is lounging. He can open it - in his rare active moments has both eyes open but for the most part he usually just has his right eye open. Is that normal?

Is it the eye thats facing you? If so this is normal, I think they try to fool you into thinking that atey are asleep...lol, sometimes dead. They also will close only one eye when they are afraid..so its normal

yup! that would be the eye. Seriously I need to have a talk with him (or her). Now is NOT the time to be faking death!
