You guys are the greatest. Thanks again.

I don't have a scale yet, but it's in the works. We took his home and placed moss on the log sculpture he has, to form a nice soft bed. Drago seems to like it very much and it has been easy for him to climb on. He's got a bigger water bowl now so he can really soak his entire body.

We've been administering to his bad eye also. The vet gave an ointment of Vertopolycin which is a bacitracin-neomycin-polymyxin ointment for the eye's. We've also just about started hand feeding him. Yesterday Michelle got him to eat 2 wax worms and he appeared to have a good feeding reflex. I'm going to have to get a stool sample 'cause I still don't feel secure about how long he sleeps. He poo's everyday in his water though. Then watch's to see if I'm going to change it. He's a smart little bugger.

One of these days I'll start photobucket and get some photo's on so you all can judge for yourselves.

Again thanks,

Bob and Michelle

ROFLMBO!!!! Now there's an image.

Glad he ate a couple of waxies for you. You should also try butter worms. They are loaded with calcium and they are soft so they are easy on the tummy. Also silkies and earth worms are good for them and easy to digest. Be careful not to over feed the earth worms. They can cause loose stools. Variety in food is really important.

Keep us posted.

You never did mention what was wrong with your dragons eye? Watery ... red ... oozing pus? Sounds like the drops should work. Maybe your dragon appears to be sleeping more than it should because it's eye is bothering him? Sitting in cage with eyes closed just because the eye is irritated?

If your dragon doesn't start perking up soon you might want to go for another vet visit ( a better vet of course). Maybe the eye infection or something else is worse that it appears ... perhaps your dragon needs oral or injectable antibiotics. Hopefully not, but I thought I'd mention this possibility.
