strange behavior "inflating neck like frog"

hey every1 I am a noob, i've been doin alot of research and this has been the best place to find everything. So I decided to join up as well. I have a WD thats about 5in snout to vent.
i have a question about a behavior I wasn't able to find, i dont know if its domenice (i cant spell) scared or what. the only way I can describe it is like a frogs croak. underneath his head inflates, well my WD, Cling, has started doin this every night the last 2 weeks. it looks just like the way a frog does it, just not as big. Any 1 have any clue?

i have 2 water dragons, male and female...they mate late fall early winter...make sure he gets 12 to 14 hours of daylight...no less then 12..keep the temp 80-84 during the day no less..as these things will stimulate hibernation..this could be what happened..so he might think its mating season ..but is he 2 ft or longer?

I know mine actually "puff" up their throats when they feel threatened. Sort of like a frog getting ready to croak. I wouldn't worry about it though, sounds normal to me.

Welcome to HC. Give us a rundown on your setup. Day and night temps, lighting type, average humidity, and diet. Maybe we can figure it out with you.
