that is soooo cute i have a question that maybe u could answer... i have had a water dragon for a year... dont know if it is male or female but I am wondering if I found another healthy dragon.. if I could put them in the same enclosure even though my dude has been alone all this time... i have heard it is difficult to know if they will get along or not.. but I do have my reptarium on my dresser with the mirror right there.. and dude sleeps on the branch facing the mirror.. like his shadow is his friend or something.. maybe u could help me.. thanks!

and like I said before.. those babies are adorable

You may be able to put them in the enclosure but there is a 50/50 chance of it not working out. You would definitely have to quarantine the new dragon first, even if it looks healthy, it can still have a disease or parasites and just hiding it well. And since you arent sure on the gender of your dragon now, there is a chance that they will both end up males and may fight. Even if it is male/female there is a possibility that they wont get along. I would only get another dragon if you have the room and money to get another cage in case something happens.

As said by Tara, you should always quarantine a new animal before putting with your established collection, so you would need a spare tank with all the necessary lighting and heating.

Also, as said by Tara, if you are unsure of your dragon's sex then I wouldn't take the risk just yet, as two males are likely to fight. If you do eventually decide to get a partner for your WD it is best to clean and rearrange the enclosure before putting them together to avoid territorial issues, and only house either a male and female or females together, not males, although you must also be prepared for breeding and rearing young if you keep a pair.

Cute pics Jacky, nice link. I love the beauty of adult WDs, particularly the males.
