mouth rot/ nose rubbing

History
when I first got Emiko, I noticed she had some snout damage from being in too small a tank, and noticed quite a bit of irritation, and dicoloration

Today
It has been several months sence I purchased Emiko, and her snout Irritation seemed to have been healing well, but I checked her mouth after a short sunbathe in the yard, and found an all yellow tooth(it looked like a rotting human tooth in color). As I went to check the tooth again, it fell out.

Questions
what should I do,
-I've heard neosporin can help block infection, is this true?
-should I worry that other teeth may be effected, her gums are still pink even in the area were the tooth was?(what are signs of mouth rot)
-how should I prevent a reoccurance
-will her tooth be replaced?

Hello, the only thing I can tell you is that if you suspect mouthrot, the quicker you get to a vet the better. Early stages can be treated but once it gets advanced it can affect other systems inside the animal.

Noted for a wide variety of symptoms, it typically presents as
cheesy yellow or yellowy-gray plaques in the soft gum tissue in the mouth, with erythema and increased salivation. Stomatitis is a secondary infection. The mouth must be treated and the animal started on a regimen of appropriate systemic antibiotics. The animal's environment should be modified as necessary to aid in recovery.

Mouth rot is usually a secondary infection brought about by something else having lowered the animal's immune system. Unless the primary cause is discovered and treated the mouthrot will return.
As Jay said you need to see a vet!

I really don't know if it is mouth rot,
it only effected that 1 tooth, and I see no
other effected teeth/tissues

could it have just been a bad tooth/dead tooth?

I use 1/2 water, 1/2 hydrogen peroxide. Cleared rot up quickly.

Yeah, if caught early, hydrogen peroxide can work wonders. Still, a vet is always a good idea. It could have been a decaying tooth, but mouthrot could still be present.

Mouth rot is very rarely, if ever, brown.
