My Chinese Water Dragon seems to have a dry sticky mouth and it seems like his tongue is fat. He has his mouth open a lot. He has had this problem for a few days maybe more. It probibly started gradualy. It's the 4th so I need something for the next day or so till I can get to the vet. Help!

Other than a vet visit I really have no idea what's going on there. What is your set up, temps. ect?
Just because you have an animal that isnt dead doesnt mean you know how to take care of it

Is your humidity where it should be? He might be a little dry - at any rate, additional misting of him would not hurt.

How is his breathing? Is it raspy and sometimes seems uneven? Also do you hear very quiet clicking? He might have Respiratory infection.

The more important questions would be:
what are you temperatures? Day and Night?
    what is your humidity.

RI's can be caused by too low temperatures, too high humidity (continuous 93%+) or too low humidity causing it to be too dry.

Is he dehydrated? Do you have a large enough tub for him to soak at least 50% of his body in? and large enough for him to comfortably turn around.
