Re: Can You Help Me

They need a home that's about 6x2x4 feet as a minimum. If you can provide that, then all's well. They are a real challenge, and high maintenance though.

Re: Can You Help Me

You need to read all 7 of these pages:

Water Dragon Care Guide (Physignathus cocincinus)

All aspects of their care is covered in that care guide. You should also purchase the book on that page, and read it, before you get the water dragon. The questions you are asking, specifically the enclosure question, show you haven't done nearly enough research on these animals.

Yep, time to catch up on reading, instead of asking questions one by one in a web forum. Once you have done all that reading and you have specific questions, we will be happy to answer.

Re: Can You Help Me

And may I add that you should invest in the mega ray bulbs. They are the easiest and the best.

Re: Can You Help Me

Well if you get them young it's impossible to tell until they reach maturity...unless you get an older rescue!
I had a female that was 6 years old...she was in desperate need a rescue that I tried to save. So I only know females.
