Finding Stink Beetles in My Tank??????

Ok so I have a chinese water dragon who is 4 months old, he's doing great but recently I've been finding black beetles in the cage with him (3 so far). I searched them on the internet because whenever I would provoke them to take them out of the cage they would smell really bad. I live in Canada where there is no such beetle as this and apparently they're called stink beetles. I use exo terrra plantation soil. It's getting really annoying and gross. If anyone has any suggestions could you please let me know??

I was also wondering if they could possibly harm my water dragon?

Oh and my tank is completely sealed up with a mesh top so there's no way these beetles are getting either in or out of there.

What are you feeding him? Meal worms or super worms perhaps?

Nope, only crickets!!! And those pictures look exactly like the ones I'm finding. Haha the beetles are bigger than Puffs head ahaha, I don't think he can tackle one of those right now ha

Those beetles are what happens to superworms once they turn into bugs. Do you have substrate in there?

If they are darkling beetles, the adult form of the superworm, I have heard that they can emit some odor but I have no experience with them. If you are not using superworms as a feeder I would suspect that they came in in your substrate,

DID you have superworms in there recently? I always find a few of those in my tank. My dragon doesn't bother them,and they don't seem to bother her either.

Are the beetles related to the snapping head beetles? (i don't know their right name but if you upset them they snap their neck and make popping noises until my cat runs away)

mealworm beatles don stink. I have have a lot and they don't smell. must be somethig else.
