Shedding in Sections? |
| This is what our member has to say: I noticed that Luigi shed the skin on his tail the other day, but not the other half of his body. What's up with that?... |

Re: Shedding in Sections?
Lizards shed in sections. They don't do it all at once like snakes do.

Re: Shedding in Sections?
Depends on the lizard. Geckos are considered lizards, and my leo sheds all at once.

Yea, the first time he shed, it was all at once. His tail is nice and green with some cool patterns going on and I hope he sheds the top half soon.

Yes but they shed in peices not in an entire skin like a snake does.

Re: Shedding in Sections?
When my leo sheds, it comes off in one big piece, except for the legs, which she gets off late, but that's understandable...

Re: Shedding in Sections?
Well CT did his shed in pieces. I was kinda upset cause I wanted to put his first shed in the baby book, but maybe next time, he looks lovely and I got some great pics of him eat his second meal in his new home!! I think shedding just depends on the individual animal.
