The triple antibiotic ointment generally works wonders as everyone has said, we have used it on injured garter snakes with a huge amount of success. Silvadene is also used on wounds in snakes, but at least in America requires a veterinarian. The vinegar helps to kill bacteria, but honey will make bacteria grow. Nolvasan helps clean wounds. Good luck, hope your reptile friends stay in good health, lifes easier that way lol.

Thank you for that. I checked them out and found them ok. Seems there is a major shortage of Herp specialist here so will look at learning what I can from these folk- who knows I might be able to help someone else someday. Cheers
