Sooo Excited!!!!

I let Cassie and Drago run in my office everyday to get exersize. Mostly, they just explore and keep to their own spaces. Cassie gets bossy once in a while and chases Drago away from a place that he wants to be. lol Now for the exciting news...at least to me...lol

Cassie was chasing Drago a bit more than normal, which I thought he was just being ****y. He caught up with her, grabbed her crest with his mouth, and climbed on board! lol She wasn't too happy bout that, but she laid still for a few minutes. He must not have been holding her too tight with his mouth, cuz she got away from him. At least I can think that, maybe someday, I will have babies from these two.. Yeah!

I second that,, remember water dragons are starting to become the next disposable pet,, they are taking that spot from the iguanas.

Re: Sooo Excited!!!!

Do you intend to hatch the eggs?
Nobody's trying to dampen your excitement, just wanting you to be prepared.
What are you going to do with a couple of dozen little dragons?

Re: Sooo Excited!!!!

I think what Liz is saying is that there are to many unwanted reptiles out there and , unless you are prepared to handle/house a couple dozen new babies...this is prolly the most humane way to dispose of eggs.

100% correct. Unless you KNOW you can house them all, or adopt them out to GOOD owners I say don't hatch eggs. There are so many unwanted chinese water dragons out there as it is. Every-other day on craigs list here they are up for adoption and all the rescues here are already up to their eyeballs in them.
