Last night when I went to bed my Chinese Water Dragon was sleeping in his usual perch (I finally have pics, just need to get them off the camera.). I woke up around 2AM when something fell in my room. I was worried it was the WD falling off a shelf in his new enclosure so I got up to look. (Turns out it was a DVD on my chair) and I found him in the 50 gallon aquarium sleeping! He was "standing" on his hind legs with his front legs up on the glass and his nose was sticking out of the water with his eyes closed and I could see him breathing, so I knew he was OK. As I was checking on him he woke up and his eyes opened, so I figured I'd leave him be and I went back to bed. I checked on him again this morning before work around 8am and he was still there! I turned the lights on inide the enclosure to make sure he was still OK and it woke him up again. He stared at me a bit but I could see he was OK and I left him. As I got ready for work, he ended up climbing out of the water and up onto a fake vine. It was just so odd to see him sleep completely under water, except his nose! Has anyone seen this before?

my tree frogs do this quite often.

Nice! Sheboygan's not too far away, we go through there on our way to Door County every year. I don't suppose you know of any herp expos going on in WI any time soon, do you? I really want to find one to check out posion dart frogs.
