Re: Gonzos Recovery Pics

these were taken recently and I have posted them b4 I have an appointment for fri so hopefully I can get him better, ive noticed suttle changes in his color and thought he was starting to recover and that I was doing my best while waiting on the opportunity to see the vet. i live in a secluded area so finding a vet within 2 hours has been a chore. There are 2 within an hour but niether are seeing "new" patients. Ill keep every1 posted on his recovery. I am doing all I can

From what you said dragonmage, he also does not seem very active, sounds lethargic to me.
This may or may not be the problem, or maybe it is one of the problems, but regardless, you really do need to take this animal to a professional. I would suggest calling a vet, seeing what they say to do for the time being, but make sure and get that lizard into a vet's.
Also what type of lighting do you have for him?
If your using UVB or UVA, you may want to reduce how much. but like I said im no professional.

Re: Gonzos Recovery Pics

i am following the vets advice until I can take him , he is getting more active as the days pass and last nite he had both eyes open and didnt close them when someone approached I have reduced his uvb exposure and put him in a room that is a little quieter, there arent any "quiet" areas in my house. well see what the vet says monday thakns for all the advice.

Re: Gonzos Recovery Pics

Its good to hear he's doing better, if it does happen to be photo-kerato-conjunctivitis you'll be glad to hear as long as its caught in time the animals almost always make a complete recovery.
