So is that the eye that you say doesn't open? It is swollen which is one of the descriptions of the effects of the bulb. As stated in the other post - remove the bulb and see if this makes a difference. The problem caused is the same thing that causes snow-blindness in people. A few days to let the eyes rest should fix it IF that's what this is. However, please keep looking for a vet so when on Monday it has not looked any better you can get him looked at.

What's on it's elbows, knees and feet? Is that old shed or something else? Can you get clearer pics?
