and it produces no light! I have mine on all day, on a thermostat. Then the lights are on a timer to be on a 12/12 period, gives me the perfect temps. Now, I'm heating about half the space as you are. You might want to consider two of them.

Re: How cold at night?*pictures*
ok, so I took my slightly sick(parasites) Chinese Water Dragon out to try to fix the shed on her nose, and the qtip wasnt strong enough to remove the shed around thenose, but I was able to softly remove most of it around the nose and some of it around the mouth. I also sprayed her with T-Rex reptile conditioner to try to help soften it up. But I also noticed some kind of yellowish stuff around her lips...and the only tihng that came to mind was mouth-rot....I was able to scrape most of the yellow stuff off, but im not sure. or is it just like foam from breathing with her mouth open?

I Don't know anything about the yellow stuff, but keep working at the shed with the q-tip. Have you soaked her in the bathtub at all?

Re: How cold at night?*pictures*
Yeah, i did that to her today while I was working her mouth. She didnt really squirm at all just pretty much played dead. But shes up and running around in her tank now, hopefully the T-Rex spray will also help the shed on the nose

Re: How cold at night?*pictures*
you say "playing dead" Were you holding the dragon on its back in order to work on the mouth?

Re: How cold at night?*pictures*
Nice cage. What other plants or logs do you have it it? How do you know they are okay for the dragon? I have two water dragons and have only been using the stuff from the pet store. I would like to get some bigger logs and plants but am unsure what to put in with them that won't harm them.

Re: How cold at night?*pictures*
no, i wasnt holdin it upside down, more or less on its side...but thats it. yeah it was a very weird sight, i put held her under the light expecting her to just open her eyes and then walk off my hand. instead she didnt move at all, so I put her on the branch and then she didnt move posistion at all and I actually thought she was dead...i was dumbfounded. THen I heard a noise and I thought "oh, thats it falling to the ground" and then I look inside and shes on the leaf just lookin around. She still keeps her mouth open, i feel uneasy about that :/

Re: How cold at night?*pictures*
she looks like she had some serious snout damage at one point in her life. Did you rescue her? how old was she when you got her?
