New member interested in getting a WD.

I am new to the whole reptile pet world. I am interested in getting a WD, question is any helpful suggestions on enclosure and best set up? Would rather get every set right so I do not have to spend money in the long run changing a bunch of things. plz comments and suggestions welcome

Welcome to Herpcenter. Here is a link to the enclosure section of the caresheet for water dragons. It should give you some ideas. Remember they like to climb so height is better than width.

definitely do lots of research and make sure you can properly care for a water dragon. good luck!

The most important tip that I can give you is... this is not a gecko. No matter how small the little guy looks at the petstore... think BIG. Oh, and a WD is usually like having another child... there's some serious sibling rivalry going on with my WD and my kids. LOL. WDs love to have your attention.

space, space and more space. Tall rather than large. That care sheet should get you going. Read it and if you have specific questions, we would be more than happy to answer.
