Re: MALE or FEMALE(pic)
How long is the dragon? If it is fourteen plus inches snout to tail length, the gender can be determined by the "tail bumps" and femoral pores - can you get a photo from behind the dragon with its tail lifted? If it is smaller than fourteen inches, you will have to wait until the dragon is older.
Manhirwen,
I have to disagree. Color has nothing to do with gender. Although males tend to have more vibrant shades of colors, females can too. Throat color has nothing to do with gender. I can give you photos of males with red throats and females with blue throats if you like. Both males and females can have bright yellow and orange behind their arms. Color is not a way to determine gender.
It is true, however, that males have large spikes and females do not, although you cannot use this way to determine the gender until the dragon is eighteen plus inches snout to tail length (when a male's really spikes grow in).
They are not difficult to sex even when younger. You just have to wait until the dragon is at least fourteen inches long.
