Is the Chinese Water Dragon, the regular green water dragon?

To my knowledge the care is the same for the 2 types:

Physignathus Cocincinus (Thailand / China)
Physignathus Lesuerii (Australia)

The Chinnese is more commonly reffered to as the "Green".

The reason I'm asking is that we have what are labeled as "water Dragons" and I'm pretty sure they're Chinese Water Dragons. I know that we aren't housing them on the proper substrate, and so I'm trying to find the best one.

Yes. They are what is most often available. The Austrailians are not as commonly seen.
