Hi. I am new here. I am a one-week old owner of an Asian/Chinese WD. He/she is 10 inches snout to tail. RIght in the middle of a molt, but I did notice when I take her (I think it's a she) out, I sit her in a water dish (frisbee) and swirl water around so it rushes up upon her shoulders. She turns the prettiest brightest green I've seen in my life. This is much different than when I pick her up, so I do see a difference in color.

I swear, pictures just can't capture the beauty of these creatures. I have 2 cats, 9 birds, a patriot crab and a freshwater tank housing 8 fish. She by far is the most social. In fact, she's under the lapel of my shirt, sitting on my neck right now. I'm already figuring out how to convert my computer room into a steam room/terrarium. lol
