Quick question
the other day I was talking with a buddy of mine about my dragons and how they behave and interact with each other. when I told him about how the dragons eats he suggested to me that maybe my smaller dragon was a male and my larger dragon is a female. he said that a dragon that is a female is very passive to a male. also I just measured them to day to see how much they had grown and my smaller dragon has grown about two inches putting him at 14 inches. and my older dragon has grown about an inch put her at 15. does any one else think that it could be plausible

Re: Quick question
I do not know a whole lot about them as I have hardly ever had to deal with them. However I do not know if the female is passive to the male. My female iguanas would rip the faces off my males if I let them, just like their momma
Someone should be here soon to answer that question. |

Re: Quick question
I have never heard such a thing. Most say you can sex by the coloration of the dragon and also by the femoral pores. I dont think I would go by the way they eat.
This might help as well. Sexing your Chinese water dragon lizard - Do I have a male or female?

Re: Quick question
If one is eating more than the other and one is more passive than the other, make sure there isnt a dominant one stopping the eating of the other....it could cause health problems down the road....good luck!!!
