How old is Diego?

We just got our first water dragon and have yet to measure him but we estimat his snout to tail length is ABOUT 12-13 inches and ABOUT 5 snout to vent length. I found a site that said 10-12 iches is about a yr old. We thought he was younger then that when we got him. So at this length what age do you think he is. From personal experience taht is. When your dragon was this size how old was he? and How fast do they grow?
