In regards to your chinese water dragon it will take some time til he/she get used to the new owner and the new environment, it took mine about 2 weeks till she started eating well!
Also don't throw a lot of crickets at once in the cage because if he/she does not eat them all they will start to try to nibble and even bite on your WD.
You could also try to get some mealworms dragons love them.
hmm... what else
make sure you maintain a proper humidity level in the enclosure and mist the cage regularly.
and the most important provide optimal lighting and temperature!!! Get get a UVA and UVB lights in your local pet store...
