One of my chinese water dragons is shedding, almost done with it and the other hasnt shed at all yet. The one thats shedding is the newer one, and the one that I've had longer (Norman) hasnt shed yet. He got a little brown and looks like he is going to shed but hes been that way for a while and so I'm not sure if this is a problem or not... Is he having issues shedding you think? He eats fine, hes just as active as the other one, neither seem to be stressed. Stupid question I know but I dont want him to get sick just because I thought it was nothing bad.

I dont have a after shedding pic yet, but most of it is gone, there is just a bit left at the base of her tail and on her back legs.



Another question, the one that is shedding has a problem. Im not sure what it is. Im hoping maybe someone could help, (what is it, what I can do to fix it)
She has these lumps on the side of her face. 3 total. They're hard to see in the pic so I circled where they are. The most obvious one is the biggest of the 3.


Maybe from not having UVB? (I dont know if she did or not, probably didnt) They both have access to a 10.0 repti sun UVB light. Does she need supliments? I was thinking of buying some. Im going to be ordering stuff soon to re do their tank.from big apple herps they seem like a good site (never ordered from there before though) So if there is anything good that anyone else uses from there that they recomend please tell

Oh, and they both have access to water & they both soak in it every day.

Not sure why one would be shedding and not the other. Does the one not shedding seem to be growing? Hows the humidity?

Im not sure, its hard to tell. One of them looks like it could be that ( its small so I cant really tell for sure) but the other 2 (on the underside of her jaw) dont seem like it. They're really hard. And where she was kept before had really LOW humidity & was very dry, thats why she wouldn't shed. Maybe I should just wait a little while longer to see if there is any difference, I havent had her that long so maybe the better living conditions will help, whatever they are.

If the bumps dont heal, you should have a vet check them. As far as not shedding yet, give it more time, they will shed when ready.
