I would have to say he most likely will be ok. Make sure he is eating and basking normally. Keep an eye for respiratory probs within a week or so....outside of that, warm him back up and good luck!
I have never heard of a pay as you go system for electricity...hmmmm

I agree with Lyn. Unless the temperature was low for an extended period of time (days) there should not be a problem. Just keep an eye out for resperatory problems like wheezing or excess mucus.
We once had an ice storm here that knocked out power over night and we woke up to 55 degrees. Everyone came thru it fine.

I think everything should be Ok! Up here in Washington we were hammered this year with many storms in November and December with power outages lasting for days! My animals went two days with only the portable propane heaters around them to keep them warm, it never got above 60 degrees because I always had to have a window open. Long story short THey actually came out fine which was a shock for me.
However I didnt push my luck for the next time around and went out and bought two 7500 watt generators which I had hard wired to my house and shop. SPENDY! I agree with everyone, just keep watching and chances are it will be fine. A pay as you go meter? Wow I would have to be out there all day constantly stuffing the meter! ![]() |
